Rolex Submariner No Date - 14060 - 1997 - $SOLD

A Unique, Clean, Classic Sub

The Submariner 14060 offers a stylish look for those who prefer a more minimalistic look. It is the classic, no nonsense Rolex tool watch.

This one is a unique find for the true collector.

It is a "transition" model from 97 when Rolex changed their lume material from tritium to luminova. It has the older "Swiss-T" marking at 6 o'clock on the dial, signifying the tritium lume, which Rolex abandoned given it's radioactive properties. Yet, it has the newer luminova lume. Luminova dials would normally have a dial marked with "Swiss" only.

The dial, hands and lume are all original to the watch. These minor differences and oddities make these types of watches stand out to collectors. In this case, it is referred to by collectors as the Tritinova Dial and is only found on U serial watches, like this one.

This watch is in fantastic condition all round. It has been very lightly polished by a profesional watchmater. Not a scratch on the case or bracelet. Bezel is in good condition too. The lugs and case are super chunky.

It winds beautifully and is running perfectly at 0s/d.

Comes with a Rolex travel pouch.
